Aaaaaaaaaand...we're back?

So...gone for a super long time. I am really going to try to post, if not daily, then at least weekly. Even if no one reads. I can feel my typing skills getting rusty and my writing ability going down the drain and I slaved really hard in college for them so I'll be dammed if I lose them so soon. Since my last post, I graduated, haven't really finished or sent any of the things I posted about, but did start a garden in our backyard with my mom. The rain (which we needed and still do), the heat (weeks of no rain and 90+ degrees), and being new biggish-scale gardeners combined for, let us say, mixed results.

I shall return with a mix of things, but will leave y'all with this picture I snapped from my last vacation (the OBX, in November, no I am not kidding. More on that later)

Good Night and Good Luck.

On the other hand

I have several projects in the works, but as it seems that spring has decided to join us here in North Georgia, albeit in fits and starts, most of my projects will have to wait until Fall and Winter to see the cold light of day.
In progress:

  • Warm Hearts Scarf - for Kim, her b-day is April 8. NEED TO FINISH ;)
  • Danica in Wheat & Wine - My very first entrelac project! It's going great, well it was until I ran out of wheat. So on hold it goes until I can get some more. I am knitting it up in Manos wool and may I just say, "Yummy!"
  • Sputtering along with notions of a super long, chunky crochet scarf. Think yarn ball junkie.
I am having trouble deciding what to do with some great birthday yarn in my stash. Some more manos in great colors. No really, the color combination is gorgeous (cream, denim, and coral) and some fun yarn with glitz in what I find to be ice cream colors. Beige (for the cone), Raspberry (for one of the scoops), and Pistachio (for another scoop).

Arrrrg! What to do with such great yarn?

P.S. the picture is completely random :) Taken by my sister in Massanutten, VA. Wonderful.

So me it's frighting

The problem w/ two computers

I currently have two computers, a desktop and a laptop. I almost never use my desktop anymore, except that it has all my music, photos, old papers, etc... on it. I have an external hard drive, but can't find the cord to hook it up to my tower. So...arrg. Nothing much going on, but work is beginning again on the February baby sweater. I leave you with a lovely picture from Oregon. Astoria in fact.

Cheers

Arrg! It's those end of semester blues

I've got a big research paper due on Thursday - research is in the preliminary stage (at best). An Italian paper due Mon that I need to check over and fix. A test Friday and a dumb news review. Can you tell that I procrastinate like a champ?

Ah hell...time to start over

So, hopefully I'll be able to take and post some pictures of my WIPs and finished project, including the ones I'm going to be frogging and starting anew on. Went home to Atlanta for my sister's birthday, which was a hoot.

Ciao

long time gone

It's been a long day and its still not over yet. Pictures of my finished projects and my WIPs are coming, as is a picture of a completed work which I am deeply unhappy with and thus have decided to frog the whole thing and start over again.
Short and done.

Goodnight, good fellows
